Because Word & Brown became a General Agent for Kaiser Permanente effective 1/1/2018, and since rates through CaliforniaChoice and Kaiser Permanente direct are now the same, we wanted to remind you of some important points about movement between the two plans.
If your clients want to move from Kaiser Permanente direct to CaliforniaChoice (or from CaliforniaChoice to Kaiser Permanente direct), please keep in mind:
- You cannot move a group off-anniversary.
- There are no exceptions to this rule.
- If we receive a case off-anniversary, it will not be sent to the carrier because we know it will be declined.
