Word & Brown has received notice from the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) that brokers nationwide are reporting an unauthorized change in their “Google My Business” listings.
Broker listings are being changed to show 800-701-5909 as the contact phone number. In reality, this number belongs to a telemarketer that sells whatever insurance your clients are looking for without notifying or sharing any of the commission with you.
Please take a moment to Google your company and make sure the phone number listed is correct. If it is not, click here and follow the steps to talk with someone at Google to help you make the necessary change.
It is highly recommended you follow up with the California Department of Insurance or the Nevada Division of Insurance to file a complaint.
