Anthem Blue Cross has a new dual network PPO option for new and renewing Small Groups for medical coverage with an effective date of January 1, 2017, through March 15, 2017. This new option gives your clients access to dual PPO networks on a promotional basis.
Here’s how the promotion works:
- New groups: Indicate dual network PPO option on the existing Employer Application
- January-March renewing groups: Request the dual network PPO option on the Plan Change Request and include a letter signed by the owner or a company officer
- Previously renewed/future-renewing groups: Submit an Anniversary Month Change Form and request dual network PPO option (applicable rate changes will apply to new anniversary month)
