Congratulations, Don Goldmann!

Don Goldmann, Vice President of Word & Brown University, received the Michael D. Gray Award at the recent National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) 86th Annual Convention for giving unparalleled amounts of time, effort, and talent to building the Health Underwriters Political Action Committee (HUPAC) into a powerful advocacy group.

“We are grateful to Don Goldmann for his hard work involving HUPAC and recognize him for those efforts with this well-deserved award,” said NAHU Executive Vice President and CEO Janet Trautwein. “The work of HUPAC and the leadership of NAHU members have a far-reaching impact on providing for the health care needs of individuals, families, and businesses in our communities.”

Goldmann is the top personal monetary contributor to HUPAC, both in terms of the candidate fund and the administrative fund, for the calendar year. The Michael D. Gray Award was created in 2011 to commemorate the service and unwavering dedication to the success of HUPAC by longtime NAHU board member Michael Gray.

“All of us at Word & Brown are proud of Don’s work at NAHU, where he has served as president for the past year and in a variety of roles in recent years,” said Jessica Word RHU, president of the Word & Brown General Agency. “Don’s support of HUPAC and his active participation in state and local health underwriter associations and the health insurance industry at large benefit NAHU and all its members in California, Nevada, and across the nation.”
